Our Work

Interior of a restaurant or cafe with a large mural of a tiger eating noodles on the wall, decorated with Asian-inspired decor, shelves with bottles and framed pictures, and seating arrangements with tables and chairs.

Slurp! Ramen

Slurp! Ramen wanted something in their space that felt as bold and full of personality as their food. They needed more than decoration. They wanted a visual centerpiece that could capture their brand in a way that felt handmade, memorable, and worth talking about.

We solved that by creating a custom mural of a tiger digging into a bowl of ramen, combining energy, appetite, and character into one playful image.

The mural gave the restaurant a strong visual identity, helped shape the atmosphere of the space, and created a moment customers connect with and remember.

Broad Porch Coffee Co.

When Broad Porch Coffee and Cafe opened their downtown Harrisonburg flagship inside the historic Court Square building, they needed a mural that felt true to both their brand and the layered history of the space itself. The building had lived many lives before becoming a coffee shop, including its time as the beloved Artful Dodger, and the challenge was creating something new without erasing that sense of story and character.

We approached it by designing a mural that felt alive, organic, and a little unexpected. It reflected Broad Porch’s warm, community-driven identity while honoring the creative energy the building had carried for decades. The result gave the new space its own visual voice while helping connect past and present in a way that felt natural to the people who know and love downtown Harrisonburg.

Interior of a restaurant called The Kitchen with wooden walls, a large colorful abstract mural, a mirror, and a refrigerator with drinks. There are black pendant lights hanging from the wooden ceiling and some decorative plants.

The Kitchen from the Virginia Beer Co.

The Kitchen at Virginia Beer Co. needed a mural that could tie the restaurant visually into the larger brewery experience and make the space feel fully connected to the brand. The challenge was creating something that felt cohesive without simply repeating existing branding. We approached it by pulling color inspiration from across the restaurant itself, from interior finishes and fixtures to the packaging of Virginia Beer Co.’s flagship beers displayed on the shelves. That palette became the foundation for a mural that felt energetic, layered, and unmistakably part of the space. Our mural, and accompanying vinyl wraps of the cooler below, helps unify the environment, giving The Kitchen its own identity while strengthening its connection to the broader Virginia Beer Co. experience.

Keister Elementary School

Keister Elementary wanted their outdoor learning cottages to feel like an extension of the classroom. Our goal was to create a mural system that could make those spaces feel engaging and educational while giving students a real sense of connection to the environment around them. More importantly, our goal was for students to see their own handiwork in large scale, permanent artwork, showing students that art and creativity are not just hobbies but real, meaningful work that shapes the world around them.

We solved that by leading creative workshops with students, collecting their drawings, ideas, and interpretations of what learning and growth meant to them, then translating those contributions into the final mural design.

Our mural centers student voices, giving them ownership of the environment while reinforcing the school’s educational goals through imagination, resilience, and discovery.

Explore More Discovery Museum

Explore More Discovery Museum wanted the outside of their building to feel just as playful, imaginative, and welcoming as the exhibits inside. The challenge was creating a mural that could extend that sense of discovery beyond the front doors and invite families into the experience before they even stepped inside. We approached it by designing a mural inspired by the idea of bringing the inside out, pulling the energy, color, and curiosity of the museum’s interactive spaces onto the exterior walls. Now, Explore more’s building itself is part of the experience, creating a more vibrant street presence and a visual invitation for kids and families to explore, play, and connect.

The Veil Brewing Co.

The Veil Brewing Co.’s Norfolk beer hall needed a mural that could carry the same energy as the brand itself before customers even took their first sip. The challenge was creating something that felt fresh and unpredictable while still connecting to the visual world people already know through The Veil’s iconic can artwork.

We solved that by designing a kinetic tiger mural full of motion, tension, and edge, pulling from the boldness of tattoo flash while pushing the imagery into something larger and more immersive. The tiger feels energetic, wild, and a little unpredictable, much like The Veil’s approach to brewing, where experimentation and boundary-pushing are always part of the process. The imagery sits tangentially to the can art experience, familiar enough to feel connected but distinct enough to create its own identity. Our image sets tone the moment you walk in, establishing the atmosphere for the kind of experience you’re about to have inside.

Living | Room Collective

Living Room Collective needed a mural that could help bridge the gap between their strong online presence and their brick-and-mortar home inside the historic Liberty Street Mercantile. The challenge was creating something that felt cohesive with the brand customers already knew digitally while giving the physical space its own sense of warmth, character, and intention. We solved that by pulling visual elements we designed directly from their established online branding and translating them into a hand-painted mural that connected the two experiences. The piece helped create continuity between screen and storefront, making the transition feel seamless for longtime customers and new visitors alike.

Period Nirvana

Period Nirvana needed a mural that could meet their mission head-on by making menstrual care visible, honest, and impossible to ignore. Imagery that pushed back against the stigma around periods while helping normalize the products, realities, and conversations that affect literally over half the world.

We designed a mural that openly features menstrual care products, treating them not as something to hide, but as essential parts of everyday health and hygiene. The piece became a visual extension of the work Period Nirvana does every day: advocating for women’s health, education, and access in a world that too often avoids or dismisses those conversations.
